No, it did. Prism spawned two number one hits, which is one more than TD's predecessor.

Having five singles these days is pretty rare. Releasing a single from an album that's over a year old isn't going to do anything for anyone. Any single release right now by an female popstar from an album that's not Taylor Swift's is going to be overshadowed, regardless of quality.
