Nixon lost to JFK. Won 8 years later. Reagan lost his primary. Won 4 years later. And soon to be Hillary when she lost to Obama in the primary.

Trump is weak in red states. Hillary is apparently weaker than Obama in blue states. And she has a commanding but small lead in the purple states. That's why national poll numbers are close. Plus 3rd parties are taking a big chunk. Things will change on election day.
But NC is currently early voting, and Hillary is up. Ready for that win.

Hillary's isn't declining though. She's been level since her post-DNC bump.
Republican convention was July 21st, Trump started to soar after that and then after the DNC he tanked.
He's starting to level out now, back to what he was at before the DNC.

I guess time will be the ultimate truth teller. I read that Trump supporters are more excited than Hillary to vote this election. That's a problem. I have a feeling she's gonna lose again

Nah. Hillary voters are more excited to vote for her than Trump supporters voting for him. She may lose again but it's highly doubtful and excitement wouldn't be the reason

I know I wasn't seeing things.
Further, nearly half of voters say they are less enthusiastic about voting in this election than they have been in previous years, while just 42% say they're more excited about this year's contest. Although this question hasn't been asked in every presidential election year, in CNN/ORC and CNN/USA Today/Gallup results dating back to 2000, this poll marks the first time that a significantly larger share of voters say they are less enthusiastic about this year's election. The lack of enthusiasm spikes among Clinton supporters. A majority of Clinton's supporters say they're less excited about voting this year than usual (55%) while most of Trump's backers say they're more excited this time around (56%).

And what do you think would be the reason if/once she loses?

She's not losing. Enthusiasm, as far as media coverage and YT views, is irrelevant. Crowds mean nothing.
Romney, Bernie, and Trump just can't seem to get that through their heads.
Every prediction has her way over 270 electoral votes. She's ahead in the states she needs to be.

Come election day, ya'll better actually show up to the ballots. Ya'll don't understand that these "deplorables" Hillary's talking about are actually the ones who show up to vote. These people literally live their entire existence waiting for this moment trying to preserve white supremacy and bring America back to the 1950s.
Meanwhile, young voters are too busy tweeting hashtags and reposting memes to actually wait and line and vote. Which is exactly why the Brexit happened.

Oh was his from the CNN poll? I haven't actually paid attention to it since they switched up methods to poll but thanks for this. A 1% difference in enthusiasm wouldn't account for the gap in polling if she somehow underperforms in it. She's still favored to win
I haven't given much thought on reasons why she would lose, mostly because I believe she wouldn't as she's in a strong position to win it. But just off the top of my head voter suppression probably would account for her loss. She's in such a strong position it just doesn't seem likely if not that reason

Democrats turn out in presidential elections. Republicans have only won the popular vote once since 1992.

Well, Trump has the entertainment factor, the media love it. I don't think he will win, but I think he has done a great job at riling up a particular demographic.
Just a shame that the demographic he's riling up are racist/homophobic/sexist etc.
Whether he wins or loses, there's going to be a lot of civil unrest. There will be riots either way, bookmark me. Hate crime will go up. It's going to be very messy. I'm praying Hillary wins so we have a competent leader to deal with it.

Everyone says this but you see blacks, gays and even hispanics at his rallies. Sure he has the alt right. But shouldn't Hillary be trying to get the alternative? Liberals?
Obama coopted some of the Green Party's platform and I'm pretty sure that helped him win. Hillary platform isn't really ambitious.

You're right in this. But she has shown, twice now, that she can drive out voters. In 2008 she actually had more votes than the ever popular Obama which no one has ever done since Obama started running for office positions. And this year she scalped Bernie who has probably had the most excited voters in recent memory. So I have no doubt she has the ability to get people to show up

Stop creating some narrative that can easily be disputed by poll numbers.
And that's your opinion her platform isn't "ambitious". She's got this far because of her record and platform.
