This show is so boring and bland. Very over self-indulgent. I feel like the directors are patting themselves on the back and smelling their own farts with this.
And the "where is your god now?" cliche is getting kinda tired. It's like Ryan Murphy and Alan Ball get kicks out of this fantasy of morbidly killing christians
I just want to say how much I love Sally's character and I feel like she's being a tad underrated! I love the tragic eye make up that makes her look like she's always crying, and her Beetlejuice-esque hair. She even scares like Beetlejuice, esp in the scene with Scarlet. The teeth grinding was so fantastic, and I love how relentlessly tragic and sad she is. Her emotions are always so surface level and she is on the verge of tears/bursting into a fiery rage any second. I think Sarah's playing a fantastic addict!

I was just thinking about why the Countess dumped Donovan. Usually in vampire mythology, a vampire's maker is kind of like their mother/father figure as well as lover. They 'raise' the new vampire until he or she has learned everything and can live without their maker. Then the maker tends to leave - its typically quite rare for a vampire and his/her maker to be together for a long period of time.
I know The Countess and Donovan aren't vampires in the traditional sense, but maybe that has something to do with the split, other than the Countess being bored of Donovan.

it's awful. whoever who was in charge of making that scene needs to be fired.
