Apart from So Small, all the singles were wrong. JAD was ok. I will forever hate her for not releasing "Twisted" and "You Won't Find This"

5. Just A Dream

And as I sit here thinking about it, they Play On singles were all wrong too. She could have had massive sales if she released the right songs.

'Carnival Ride' to me, was perfectly planned out. She was able to get five platinum single and her last top ten entry on the Billboard Hot 100. I think the issue for the era was releasing 'Last Name' too soon. I sincerely think 'All American Girl' could've been a much bigger hit and have a chance with HAC/Pop listeners and have a much bigger peak.

If it were up to me though I would've released 'Twisted' and 'Get Out of This Town' instead of 'Last Name' and 'I Told You So'.

Oh 'Play On' .. how it was a disaster.

I still think they should've released 'Quitter' as the lead single, Max Martin's name could've got a lot of interest in it and generate an even more successful hit than 'Cowboy Casanova'. Then she should've released 'What Can I Say' as the second single during the winter which would've inevitably make her taken much seriously as a song-writer/artist. 'Unapologize', 'Songs Like This' and 'Play On' all would've been suitable single choices as well and than end the era with 'Someday When I Stop Loving You'. I really should be her manager.
