I'd say the reason Twinkle did better than The Boys on iTunes is likely because that whole release of The Boys outside of Korea was sloppy and mismanaged. They should have put the album on iTunes when they released the video and the Korean physical album. Instead, the maxi-single kept getting pushed back and the VEVO MV wasn't make available to the public for like a month. At least the single managed to sell 21,000, more than I thought it would, personally.
Twinkle probably managed got a couple thousand sales.
