I actually saw a lot of comments about her from urban- and rap-centric communities, and some of the responses were astounding. I thought she'd get dragged to hell and back but many people were actually rather receptive.
A ton of them called her hot in the "Cake" teaser.
I was all excited that I would have a new Gaga era to enjoy during my first year of college, just like in high school (I can associate specific moments of her career so closely with whether it happened when I was a freshman, sophomore, etc.).
