Kelly Clarkson’s ‘Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)’ may have only peaked at No.8 at the beginning of 2012, but the fact it has stuck around for so long has made it her biggest-selling single ever in the UK. Yep, more than ‘Since U Been Gone’, more than ‘Behind These Hazel Eyes’… even more than ‘Low/The Trouble With Love Is’. Up to midnight on Saturday it had sold 365,272 downloads on these shores, only 500 copies behind her 2009 No. 1 ‘My Life Would Suck Without You’ – a gap it will have comfortably closed either yesterday or today. The album Stronger has also just overtaken her last opus, All I Ever Wanted, as it cruises over the 200,000 sales mark, but is unlikely to ever reach the 1.5 million total managed by 2004′s Breakaway. Over in the US, ‘Stronger’ is the 4th best-selling single of the year so far, having shifted an amazing 3 million copies. Great to see that Kelly’s still got her mojo ten years after winning American Idol, and almost enough to make us forgive the British public for only getting ‘Dark Side’ as far as No.40. ALMOST.
YES! For Stronger crossing the 200K mark in the UK, her second-best selling album there. UK has been stanning a lot for KC lately, Dark Side is right now a Top 40 hit...hopefully people can suck it up and start buying the damm single so it can rise along with radio.

Wow @ MKIA at #21 on Country!! I was really just expecting it to maybe hit #20 but hopefully Top 15 and that's it.. I hope it can climb into the Top 10! I think just a little bit of promo would be all that's needed!
Breakaway has only sold that much in the UK? I thought it would have at least hit 2 million....but than again, the number of albums needed to be platinum are less so I guess it's not too bad...

It's going to be a looooooooooooooong climb up the Hot 100 though if the ****ing iTunes position doesn't jump DRAMATICALLY soon lol. Should climb higher soon with the big stations playing it
But right now it's so hard to envision Dark Side ever getting to the top 10 or 20 on iTunes which means it's going to be hard for the song to peak even at #20 on the Hot100 if the public doesn't get their ass in gear and buy it. lol. We have to wait and see though, I'm hoping for the best
