@GriffinLevi I honestly didn't dislike one song. Every song is genuine, fun, emotional and a great listen!

I can't at Demi being blocked by these irrelevant country and alternative acts...

Crap, I didn't realize that Darius Rucker's new album was coming out the same day as Demi's. That's not good. Country artists sell albums well generally, but "Wagon Wheel" is a huge hit for him right now too. Out of the three acts coming out with an album that week(Darius, George,VW), Darius is definitely going to be the toughest competition. She's gonna have a hell of a time trying to beat him.

And also George Strait has been around the #100 position
I can see Vampire Weekend, George Strait and Darius Rucker being a competition.

I can't belive no one mention that George Strait was releasing on the same week he's probably gonna outsell everyone with huge numbers

Yeah he only appeared on the site a few days ago.
Anyway, I'm here for #1 but mainly high first week sales, I won't be disappointed if it doesn't go #1

really? I think george is her biggest competition.. pretty much a country legend and didn't Darius' song just become a hit like 2 weeks ago? I don't think he'll do that well but county always sells oh well, as long as the sales are good I don't care tbh

I really hope they put up the stream on I-tunes. Usually when the put up a stream, the have they a pre-order button near it, so if people like the album they can have it as soon as it comes out(That's what happened with the 20/20 experience, The pre sales shot up after it was put on streaming),
Plus, it will create more hype/media attention about the album which she really needs right now. If the album is as amazing as everyone says they need to let people hear it, so we can get some positive reviews up on the big pop culture/music websites.

Isn't the Darius Rucker's album released on May 21?
I think she can beat VW because her relevancy now is way bigger than in 2011
George will be her main competior

Exactly. Darius is hot right now which is why I think he'll have the biggest first week sales. He has the most momentum of anyone releasing that week, and his past two albums did really well too, He's starting to really solidify his country base, and really hardly anything beats the country base. You're right about George. He's a legend with a devoted following, so he'll come out strong, but I feel like Darius has a bit of an edge. Unless Demi's team finally gets their **** together and gives her proper promo that week she's going to have a tough time trying to beat either one of them or vampire weekend for that matter.
First week sales of last album:
Darius: 101k
Demi: 96k
George: 92k
VW: 124k

But Demi has gained a lot exposure since 2011 Like just see the huge difference of success between her lead single from this era and her lead single from her last era. So regardless she's gonna have bigger sales.
