Hello to all the contestants. 19 of you remain. Round 4 Results are here. Each team's scores will be posted along with the commentary. The next post will have the actual results and ranks of each team just like last round only this time your total averages throughout the game so far will be present.

Now on to results...

1. ethan - Emerson Hart - I Wish the Best For You

Ray – 10 – “I wish the best for you”. It can’t get better than that for a good-in goodbye.

Anna - 7 - I've never heard of him, and while the song didn't particularly impress me, it was a nice tune and it fits the theme. The lyrics are not as straightforward as some of the other choices, but the meaning is still clear. Only one part irks me a bit, where he's like "If you ever need a place to run to", because that means it might not be a final goodbye.

Zaid - 8 - I wasn't familiar with this song, but I like the choice. It works really well for our theme this round; the title alone says it all.

2. medosuxx - Shontelle - Say Hello To Goodbye

Ray – 8 – “I know I'm going to miss you I'll forget it and let it go.” She seems really focused on letting go and saying goodbye. It definitely fits the round.

Anna - 8 - It's a good song and I really like how it relates to the theme. It seems like they've been trying to fix their relationship for a while, but she's realizing that it's not ever gonna work so she's leaving. It's emotional without being cheesy and that makes it a nice listen.

Zaid - 9 - One of my favorite Shontelle songs. She seems to finally be able to let him go and not hate him, which is what Dylan asked for this round. Good job.

3. AdamAL4 - Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You

Ray – 9 – A classic anthem and a good-in goodbye, both in the same song. Your best entry yet Adam.

Anna - 9 - I can't put my finger on it but I just can't give this a 10, something feels off. However, it's one of the best choices this round imo; she's not bitter about the break-up, she wishes him all the best and I guess she is thinking that he is better off without her. It remains a mystery whether he agrees, though, and her eternal love for him also doesn't really show much closure. Yeah, that's why it's not a 10 for me.

Zaid - 10 - Oh Adam, picking a very predictable choice to break the pattern I see But hey it works, any judge who gives you less than a 10 is pressed.

4. Killer Queen - Gwen Stefani - Cool

Ray – 4 – Maybe I’ll be the judge that differs from the others, but let me just explain why. I know what’s the story in “Cool”, but I just can’t seem to think this is Gwen reminiscing a previous farewell or goodbye, rather than she saying goodbye in the song. I just felt there are stronger entries this round that actually focus on the goodbye.

Anna - 6 - Musically, this song is amazing, and considering the lyrics, it's a pretty obvious choice for this round. It's a bit tough though, because it's more like she's looking back at their breakup after a long time and talks about how they are cool now. She doesn't say they were already cool then, I mean, there's lines like "It's such a miracly that you and me are still good friends" so it seems like it was not an amicable split. They see the good in it now, but that's not enough for me.

Zaid - 10 - I loved your first two rounds, you missed the third for me, but came back strong this round. My favorite Gwen song. It's perfect for this theme. Perfection!

5. collin - Kelly Clarkson - Already Gone

Ray – 9 – I knew you could send strong entries Collin, this is a proof of your song-selection skills. Keep me proud!!

Anna - 10 - This is one of the few Kelly songs I know (and like), and it's like it was made for this round. She knows the relationship will never work and just make both of them unhappy, so she takes action. There are no hard feelings, she wishes the best for the guy and it really has a nice sense of melancholy and emotion without being too dramatic.

Zaid - 9 - Great choice! you have been struggling a bit with the scores the past three rounds, but I think this should put you back up!

1. Monk - Chris Brown - Say Goodbye

Dylan - 8.5 - I know you struggled this round but it doesn't show too much. This isn't the best song that was sent in but it works for the most part. Some contestants still haven't managed to get this score when they're supposedly not "struggling". It's a solid pick.

Anna - 10 - Y'all trying to make me like Chris Brown and slaying the game with his songs at the same time. This is perfect and it's also really touching the way he performs this song, he sounds genuine and it makes you feel like you're the one he's breaking up with. He says he doesn't love the girl like he used to, so it's better for both of them to end things here. Perfect.

Zaid - 10 8.5 - Automatic 10 for choosing Chris Brown! Just kidding

2. t.A.T.u. - Jagged Edge - Goodbye

Dylan - 7.5 - I think it fits lyricallly but the song is really bad. I'm not impressed but I'm not utterly disappointed either.

Anna - 7 - I'm not the biggest fan of this song, especially not the monologue in the beginning, but it's not the worst choice. I just think he's bit too sad about leaving her, like he's not even believing himself that this is gonna be better for her. He really seems not to be over her, he thinks he'll never love another girl.. It's not like he changes his mind but still, he's not completely convincing.

Zaid - 8 - Never heard of this group before It's a good choice that works for this theme. I wasn't too impressed with it though.

3. DripDrip - The Pussycat Dolls - Happily Never After

Dylan - 10 - Obviously this a positive said of breaking up shown here which is what I'm looking for. I'm not looking for a sulking song about how sad you are that you two aren't togeher, but one where she's sad they're breaking up, but knows it's time to move on. I'm surprised this did so well. Wasn't expecting a PCD song to work here.

Anna - 9 - A very decent entry, the only thing is that it's very one-sided from the perspective of the girl. She is definitely gonna be better off without the guy, but he probably won't be so happy about it, so it's not a completely "good" goodbye. That's only a tiny detail though, still a good entry.

Zaid - 7.5 - Much better than last week! I see how this could be viewed as "good" for her "As she drove away she starts to smile", finally letting go.

4. MWB - LeToya - Don't Need You

Dylan - 7 - It's not what I was looking or in general but I guess it somewhat works for the round if I ignore some of the lyrics. You can do better.

Anna - 4 - Cute, but I see it more as a self-motivation anthem than a positive goodbye song. She sounds like she is still struggling with the breakup and that's why she's basically telling herself she doesn't need the guy and that she'll be okay without him. We were looking for a song that shows determination and confidence in the decision to leave, where breaking up is seen as the better solution. I don't think that's the main topic of this song.

Zaid - 7 - It's not what I'd choose for this round, but it works I guess. She's moving on and smiling so that's "good" for her.

5. Middle of Selena - Miley Cyrus - Driveway

Dylan - 6 - This seems like a song where she doesn't care and he loves her a lot. They may be better off without each other but it doesn't seem like there's much good in the goodbye here. It's just a typica break up song.

Anna - 5 - This strikes me as weaker than most of the songs sent in this round. It's about a relationship that has no future, but I don't really see her being positive about it. It rather sounds like she doesn't care about it much. The only good thing I see is her telling herself that she'll be thankful for the experience in the future, but overall, it's just not very expressive or strong, lyrically and musically.

Zaid - 7.5 - I was kind of waiting for the "good" in their goodbye, then this came "Can't think of what I've learned right now, But I'll be thanking you someday" which I interrupted as there's some good closure.

1. DanceForYou - Leona Lewis - Lovebird

Dylan - 10 - By far my favorite of this round. Not only does this hit the theme hard, but it's a beautiful song which is why I'm giving it a 10. Hitting the theme gets you the most credit but when the song is good, that's the icing on the cake. I love this song and I'm glad to see someone thought of it. You're really impressing me this time around; even more so than last time.

Ray – 10 – The metaphors are so beautiful on this one. The fact that it’s not the typical breakup song gives you extra points Nicole. Excellent choice.

Zaid - 8.5 - Another great choice Nicole! I love this song. You can totally spot the "good" part of the break up in the lyrics.

2. potentbreakupsong - Rob Thomas - Mockingbird

Dylan - 7 - I get what the song is trying to imply, but it's a little vague when it comes to actually determining there is in fact a goodbye. You seemed to have a hard time this round and it shows a little bit.

Ray – 3 – Potent I really feel you missed the mark on this one. I can’t seem to find the actual goodbye in the whole song’s lyrics

Zaid - 7.5 - This love is not working out for them, so it's good for them to break up? ok yeah that works. This is a little different from other entries where the break up seems to come from one person.

3. VJoker - Britney Spears - Why Should I Be Sad

Dylan - 6.5 - This one took awhile to come to a conclusion on. I don't think it focuses mainly on what we trying to see theme wise enough for me to score it high. There were stronger choices and while this doesn't matter, it's one of my least favorites from Britney (specifically Blackout). This underwhelms a bit.

Ray – 6.5 – I know where you’re trying to go with this entry, but I just feel there’s this little tiny bit of the song where Britney speaks about saying goodbye, and the rest is just not as strong as the chorus.

Zaid - 7.5 - She's realizing how things will be better off without him, so she's saying goodbye. I think it's a good choice for this round. PS. Clarity has been stuck in my head since you posted it for round 2.

4. TheSeenScene - The Spice Girls - Goodbye

Dylan - 8.5 - Finally! I was getting pissed because you kept underwhelming in my opinion. This one stands out because it's a different type of goodbye. It's not that A level entry yet but you're on your way Scene.

Ray – 9.5 - I found this entry really refreshing because it’s different from all the other breakup entries. Obviously she’s better now saying goodbye, I’d really call this a good-in goodbye.

Zaid - 7 - I don't know why this line "Look for the rainbow in every storm" made me laugh The lyrics are just But it's a decent choice for this round.

5. Stevie - No Doubt - End It On This

Dylan - 9 - This is one of those songs where you can tell no matter what she's still going to have some love for him. It fits and it's different and not predictable so what else can i say? Nice choice.

Ray – 9 - I love this song, and it clearly fits the theme. Gwen wants to finish this in the best of ways, but not by leaving without one last kiss.

Zaid - 6 - Not a big fan of this choice I didn't get any "good" from this break up. It just seemed that things didn't work out.

6. MusicLoverDude - Fergie - Big Girls Don't Cry

Dylan - 9.5 - I think there's multiple interpretatons to this song and the one I get in't necessarily about a boyfriend, but any relationship where you have to move on and do you which emphasizes the "good" in goodbye that we were going for.

Ray – 5 – Fergie needs to move on with her life, yes, but I feel there’s no actual goodbye specified in the song. Most of the song she talks of the moments in her relationship rather than focusing on the actual goodbye.

Zaid - 9 - I don't want to offend you by saying this, but I would have never thought you'd be one of the most consistently good players. Another great entry. Keep up the good work.

1. Lippy - Usher - Burn

Dylan - 9 - The song is about both of you going on to better things which is what I wanted this round. I loved your entry last round even if the others didn't and I like this one as well.

Ray – 8.5 – I found this entry fitting on every aspect. Usher clearly needs to “let it burn”, for his lover and himself being better on the near time.

Anna - 6 - I can't believe this song is over 10 years old, Confessions was one of my favorite albums as a kid and it still sounds fresh today. Initially, I was really pleased with this entry, it's always nice to have a song like this from the perspective of the guy and he starts out nicely describing the situation and how it's better for him to leave; however, I am having problems with the second verse. He clearly states that he thinks breaking up was a mistake and he wants her back now, and that just ruins the meaning of seeing the break up as something positive. If that wasn't the case, it would've been a straight 10, but the sense of closure is missing.

2. Kavish - Vanessa Hudgens - Gotta Go My Own Way

Dylan - 8.5 - Regardless of whether it's from High School Musical, it does fit what I asked for. It's not my favorite entry but lyrically it embodies what I asked for this round. Pretty good.

Ray – 8 – It’s really hard for me to usually take this entries seriously, simply because of the fact this is from the HSM2 sountrack, but the track fits the theme perfectly. Gabriella wants to be away from Troy because it’s the best for her right now. Kudos Kav.

Anna - 6 - High School Musical, I can't even. Interesting choice coming from you also. I don't know, she says she's gonna go her own way but there is still the prospect of them being together again in the future so maybe it's just a break in the relationship. There is no definite end because she's still hoping for things to work out between them someday, so I have to detract some points, also because the song is a bit basic.

3. theoyellajukebox - Usher - Final Goodbye

Dylan - 8 - He looks about 12 during this song but anyway, I'm happy with all of team zaid this time around. This may be your guys round. Your entry is good, a little boring as a song, but lyrically fit.

Ray – 9 – Oyella, I praise you because many do not know Usher’s early work, and this is the last track from this self-titled album from 1994. It clearly fits the theme.

Anna - 8 - The second Usher song on the team, and this one fits much better just because there are no regrets. It's time to say goodbye for Usher, and he goes through with it and doesn't look back. The only thing that makes this song a bit weak for me is the song itself, it doesn't sound as interesting as Burn, it's rather bland and you can just tell that Usher was still really young back then and hadn't found his own sound yet. Nevertheless, good entry.

But in regards to Ray's comment this is the part that says goodbye

and yes it's vague, and it's implying the breakup rather than coming out and announcing it, but at least it's there.
