When Lorde did that lipstick smear at the AMA's in 2014, I'm pretty sure she was signifying that the Pure Heroine era (which included the trademark dark lipstick) was over. I don't think she ever performed a Pure Heroine track since 2014.
She is coming to Coachella with the #2 spot on the final night lineup and I can't see her using that slot to do a set that is mostly songs from Pure Heroine. It can't be too much longer to wait.
