radio doesn't pay attention to requests, they play what they want to play. I know this for a fact. my brother is a radio DJ and he's taught me about how it works.

From what I've heard, requests add up to audience impressions - which is why Britney's audience impression seem to be higher than the songs above it, it's because the fans vote/request for it while the songs above it are just played but no requests. For example, on the Z100 playlist, "Everytime" was #2 and "The Reason" was #1, yet "Everytime" still had a slight lead with audience impressions.
