Her debut was more than a moderate success in the UK. The album is Platinum, she had three top 5 singles including a #1 w/ "Dilemma." She also had a successful European tour with this album, most people don't know that. Lol!
Ms. Kelly actually did well in the UK - It's certified Gold if I'm not mistaken and Here I Am is certified Silver. Neither album did exceptionally well, but where she shined was her singles. "Like This," "Work," "Commander," and "Down For Whatever" were all hits in the UK. Especially "Work." And we all know "When Love Takes Over" was massive all around the world including the UK where it's a Platinum selling single.
