I've never thought about it that way.

I guess it can be a good thing to release a better song as your 2nd single than your 1st.

With her next album I want the first 2 singles to be amazing.

Right? AYWR could have done some DAMAGE to pop radio had it been sent for adds. The video has like 100m+ views on youtube. That speaks for something. I don't even know what HWR are thinking when they're deciding things. How much money does it even cost to send a song for adds? Are they just broke because it's the job of the label to promote the artist.

I think the only persons career it would help is Justins because Selena is gonna be around for a long time... whether it be acting or singing, she will still be around... whereas Justin will be fading sometime in the next 2-3 years

I think what Selena really needs are songs with a more powerful chorus, like Naturally. (LYLALS is different). I feel that if her choruses were catchier, and gave off a more summer-vibe she would peak higher. And also, for the love of god, the girl needs pre-album promo. I can't with the only promo she got for WTSGD was through facebook.

She is gorgeous and latina.

And if everything goes great for her, I can see her creating a great mainstream career ala Jennifer Lopez.

she never got the same support as other artists....
She didnt have any big collabs on her album. (Intuition with who?; Pixie doesnt matter, she is big in UK, but not in US sadly...),
i dont think, that she had a big budget to her music videos, that was the reason, why they were using a real pink painted horse instead a animation horse to her LYLALS shooting...
and now, HTL (after LYLALS went #13on HOT AC, and #6 on POP) gets adds date just on POP format? Really?

If i dont know anything about HWR artists, i could think, that Selena is a flopped artist, and thats why they dont want to support her.... Weird.

HWR promotes her albums the week of. She almost never promotes the album before it comes out. And her 2nd singles always get more promo than her first lead singles (which can be a good thing).

But I agree with her needing better songs! With the next album I want her to work with different people. I want only 2 songs by Rock Mafia, 3 by Toby and different people with the rest of the songs.
Hit The Lights has a pretty powerful chorus tho, I think that's why I can see it doing well.

NOO!!! she should do a few songs with them... providing they are all up to or higher than the standard shown on tracks like: Rock God, Naturally... I'd like a song similar to Can't Be Tamed...

I don't think she would be able to work with the top producers like RedOne etc because I doubt HWR would fork out that much money for her
