Yeah no one cares about the Olympics anymore. They should just hold them in the States every year, where the infrastructure already exists and there are facilities to accommodate tourists. Don't build a new stadium/olympic village every time, just re-use.

The Olympics sucks and is boring. They do the same thing every year, but just ever so slightly faster or bigger or better.

I don't see the appeal. Human physical limits will be reached soon (we biologically evolve slowly) and it won't matter anymore.

Here the Olympics were broadcasted through cable only for the first time ever, Carlos Slim bought the rights & made everything available through an app & a website for free, we literally were able to watch every single event live, it was so nice

He wants to PUNCH OUT the only two free TV networks we have here.

He did the same in my country, claro app live streamed for free every discipline, but our public channels have live coverage too, poor the US and their endless commercials

He blockedT the free networks from broadcasting anything, they were only able to put up to 6 minutes of footage per day

He allowed ESPN & FOX Sports to broadcast all the competitions though.
