I listened to a track from jojo's new album earlier and that's very pop. People have been tweeting about how good it is. Unfortunately it's just not for me. I recommend that to the pop fans.
I for one like albums with substance and meaning. I can tell already there's a story to this album and it will make sense to those that have patience to listen to every lyric from start to finish.
Don't listen to what Gaga says either. She's spilling white lies most of the time because she's a famous woman and has to be careful about what she says in public. But the content is there and to me, the music is speaking. The imagery is thought-provoking yet it's a blank canvas so that the average Joe can relate to her.
I'm not one to convince people to love something they're already not liking but at least give the album a chance. This is why most of us haven't spoiled ourselves and listened to low quality 30 second snippets and know that the live versions often differ from the studio quality.
For music fans I would like to think this forum and its members respect music enough to want to hear it in HQ at least. I mean, come on girls, have some class and standards.
