The small cast and the obvious budget cuts aren't really giving me any hope that we'll get another season after this one....
That's fine as long as this season is as good as Season 1 (minus the finale)

The cast this season is significantly smaller tho.

She was for last season. In the initial press release and up until last week, she was also promoted as/said to be in the main cast this season. Things changed with the press release for episode 2 (Warts and All).
They still have big names in the cast Jamie, Emma, Niecy, Lea and Abigail are well known.
I did think that most of them just love the show so much and their good relationship with Ryan persuade them to do this show.
And it`s not a small cast, their will be more cheap actors/actresses to kill, no worry.
And the hospital supposed to look much less glamorous than the sorority house for sure.
