You are comparing 3rd and 2nd singles to a 4th single.

For a forth single is doing really well on radio and iTunes.

Not every pop star can Smash with a forth single just look at Katy with Birthday, Gaga with MTN and Rihanna with Right Now/What Now.

3 of the major pop stars struggled/are struggling with 4th singles, just chill and enjoy what we have right now.

I think some people are expecting RDC to be demi's biggest hit, that's why they're unhappy. for me, I'd be happy if it went platinum in sales. and I think being the 4h single matters, the hyppe is not the same for a single released 1 year after the album. definitely different than when she released heart attack and MITUSA

This. Fourth singles obviously don't have the same hype and RDC doing well is not an easy task.
