Marina kinda shaded everyone's fave with the '****** American pop music' remark and now she's getting "undeserved" attention by "selling out". Stans are upset by anything these days.

I love both, but their voices and songs are very different to me.
it's just simple mindedness when people don't understand something new and have to pair it with something old so that it's easier for them to comprehend. people for some reason can't seem to grasp onto the concept that each artist is their own.
Basically. ATRL is basically made up of no-life stans who rage behind their computer screens when people other than their fave gets some attention. Pathetic, really.
But there are some good people on this site. All the diamonds are nice.
