Just MINUTES after Avril Lavigne tweeted fans to vote for Wish You Were Here on American radio station, Q102 FM, Wish You Were Here rocketed up the charts all the way to #1. According to the DJ, the large amount of votes for Avril Lavigne caused the voting website to crash. How large were the number of votes? According to the station, 4637 votes! These were not only votes coming from America, but from cities such as Sao Paulo, Rio De Janiero, and Rome! Wow, just WOW!
I think I know why WYWH isn't diffused on NRJ (the biggest french radio). They didn't receive the radio edit, I tkink they are waiting for the radio edit.... cause they diffuse the MV on their music channel: NRJ Hits. RCA sucks.
Can't wait for radio update today. WIOQ played the song. It was a test spin but I think they will add it soon. The song also has support from Hot AC stations. Smile didn't have it. We have some good signs already !!!
