I'm honestly hoping for the judges' sakes that 50% of these contestants don't submit.
Reading + judging 60 entries in two days is literally impossible (properly anyway, not just skimming and not giving helpful critiques). Huga couldn't even read less than 10 entries in two days last season half of the time.
The only thing I can think of is that for the first (few) rounds we won't be required to write a full song. Or should I say, we won't be allowed to write a full song. Because reading 60 choruses or verses is a lot more manageable than 60 full songs.
Sometimes less is more, and making an impression with a small chunk of text is better than writing a full song.
