I think ultimately we'll stay in, just for the fact that a lot of people don't know what will happen if we vote out, so they'll be scared and just vote in instead.
I agree with this.
I don't care that much about the outcome since I don't plan to live here forever though I wonder if this'll affect my chances of going to a European university at all.
Oh, and agreed on the referendum, so few people care and yet every single Daily Politics episode in the last 5 months has been about it, it's actually disgusting. I think people might care more in the last week or so, idk. Either way I'm blackmailing my family to stay in.
I think in is the best option since we'd be more secure/less uncertain and we'd actually have a say in Europe.
I know they keep bringing up Turkey as a reason to leave and I don't want them as an EU member state but if they wanna be one so bad surely we could get them to change before we let them join which in the long run would be better for all of us.
I think the EU drastically needs reform still. At this point I think its logical to expect an even more integrated Europe Union on one side, or a disintegrating European Union on the other. I don't feel that there's a middle road between the two due to all the social/economic pressures at the moment.
I feel like we're going to stay in. I'm voting to remain and I don't know anyone voting to leave but I'm sure it does have it's supporters. Daily Mail readers, UKIP etc.

What's even so bad about a more powerful EU? I'm fine with us all working together. And I know my grandparents are voting Out because they think they were lied to in the last referendum but that's it tbh.

To be honest I kind of feel the same way and that a 'United States of Europe'/federalised system wouldn't necessarily be terrible seems to generally be a very unpopular opinion though
No idea what this David Cameron drama is but I hope he resigns just for the country to meltdown
I don't know the ins and outs, but his dad had one of those offshore companies to avoid tax, and he and his wife had shares in it. They say they paid all their tax and are publishing their returns soon, but he seems caught up in a web of lies

Yes we defo need to stay, as a university student who wants the Erasmus fund for my year abroad in Spain.
Although even if we leave I believe I'm still eligible as I'm already in university but for everyone younger than me wanting to study modern languages it's a big issue.
I posted in this thread or in one of the politics threads that Cameron/the Conservatives would be despised by the end of their office and it's certainly heading that way.
Maybe we should all list a pro/cons list for the EU vote because the government is clearly for it and media against and I don't trust either of those bitches.
The media here is just appalling. Doing a whole module on how our press writes about the EU compared to other EU countries like France, Spain and Germany was so eye-opening... I knew it was trash but it puts it into perspective how bad it is here when you look at them.
I don't think we'll ever get to vote on this again. And new EU rulings seem to happen every week, new member states joining and so on. I don't think the EU will be in a good place in a few years so best if we jump ship when we can. That's just me tho. It's like when one of your favs releases a dodgy lead - stick it out in case it all turns okay or be wise and get out of there ASAP.

Yes please. I received my voting card yesterday but because of the fight between both the media and government it does not make no sense, like at all
