Ermm well if u had remembered i also mentioned that it would take work from Epic I.E. promo and performances etc to get this into the Top10.. There was absolutely nothing delusional about it dahling. It could of been easily achieved back then, its survived this long with nothing but a video and a few ****** interviews here and there...
And if they were serious about increasing on the Top 100, it could still easily go Top 20, as she's hitting top 10 urban, and still slowly increasing elsewhere, so interest is still there. A few amazing performances on high profile shows and it could have a dramatic effect.
but anyway im not going to justify any longer. read my original messages before coming with your pointless assumptions.

The point I'm trying to make is that you caused a ruckus in here several pages back, talking sh*t and angering Beyonce fans, and now you're starting to lose interest in the song. All those long paragraphs for basically nothing.

Im losing interest in the song as although she may be increasing steadily EPIC are doing a lousy job at maintaining her image and public awareness.. I mean she hits top 40 on the Hot 100 and my gurl is nowhere to be seen? I don't see why they couldn't of gone even further and got her out and about performing only increasing that position.
I love Body Party, its an urban classic. BUT i mean c'mon not ONE performance in months? Its not the way things should go, and i really require something more at this stage in Ci's career, especially with all thats gone on in the last few years with Ci.. I thought Epic would be doing all they can.. And when it hits Top 40 i mean there really is no excuse...

DEAD @ y'all thinking an average Ciara consumer is checking for some Late Night performance.
I mean it'd be nice to see her perform it but it's not going to send her into the Top 20 right now. Why do we have to scroll through 3 pages of crap about it?

Any performance = promo and it's definitely more promo than Instagram or Twitter. She needs to be performing this on Ellen, The Voice, Today Show, etc. Just one week of promo is all it needs. I don't know why Epic doesn't see this song could do so much better.

The performances are not for the average Ciara consumer, who knew about Body Party before it was released and bought it on day one and have supported.... But more for the GP who just listen to radio and are not sure on what they should be spending on. An amazing performance would help 'GET' those everyday GP buying the song, increasing its positions via purchasing, streaming, sharing, etc..
I dont see what y'all problems are?? Are y'all honestly telling me a performance of the song on Ellen, Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel, voice etc.. wouldn't help give this a boost seeing as its 11 spots away from no.1 on urban radio and looking to rise on the Hot 100??? .. It shows the songs life is far from over. The label should be more than ready to get this as high as possible on the Hot 100. and Top 20 is not out of reach.. It will totally save her image within the publics eyes. A second single could take Ci right back to square one. they should be focused on doing all they can with the song.
Anyway i thought this was a Ciara fan thread , we should all want this to do as well as possible. but obviously not.

I don't presume to know anything.. Anything at this point will be good for ciara and help to boost her standing with the general music buyers.. A performance on a good show will be great for Cici right now and I will not have anyone tell me anything different as you would be totally wrong. Everything that's gone wrong with Ciara in the past, has been label or promotion based. And it's sort of happening again on a smaller scale only this time she is somewhat managing to rebuild her fan base. A severe lack of promotion will only continue to dent any increase hence why they really need to think about what they are doing and get her out promoting now ..

What people here don't seem to release is that singles buy albums. If an album contains that hot single that done amazingly well and was promoted impeccably it has more chance in helping to sell the album. By focusing on Body Party right now, means they will be giving the album the best possible chance to sell well at first week. It could go terribly wrong with single 2, and they should realise the huge risk involved in relying on this, when they already have that hit already just waiting to blow.. (presuming the label care) .. I would concentrate on BP for the next month, book Ci some major shows, concentrate on getting BP as high as it can possibly go, then on album release week, get her slots on the today show, BET specials, MTv specials etc and drop the album, with the second single following closely behind. That way she is maximising based in the success already and not on HOPE a second single catches on, when it could very well fail, ruining everything they have tried to build.
