Even then, many people don't bother with color adjustments or cropping correctly.

Then I put in a ton of effort into making their request amazing, then they turn around and use it for like two days

Not sure what you mean. I did no sharpening on that gif.

It does take longer to render/export, but I am on a high end gaming PC, so I don't even notice the delay.

I meant generally, there's some requests in the thread that asked to be heightened or whatever and some members just crop it and it looks even worse But the 2nd gif also looked sharper which is probably a consequence of the colouring that you do,

I guess if you've got one of those really high-tech computers it doesn't make that much of a difference.
