When I did my first album, I was like 15 or 16 and I’m growing up. I’m becoming a woman, and with that adulthood comes a lot of lessons. At the end of the day, it’s definitely my vision. I’ve found out who I am a little bit more. It’s definitely more mature and developed, so I’m really proud of that [and] it’s definitely R&B. That’s where my love lies and that’s the music I’ve always loved to create. Like I said, you definitely can see a change from my last album compared to what this is going to be. It’s night and day.
God, no one cares if she sells out and suffers the same backlash. Some people are just enjoying her songs. I could care less about Brooke besides her boobs and music. Why is it so hard to understand for some pretentious fans of indie chicks?
Braun happily acknowledged that he and Jepsen are after critical acclaim, and though Interscope's Berman was cagey when asked whether he's specifically targeting indie listeners, that may have been because the label doesn't need to do so.
Hmm, cute excuse Carly. I can definitely see GoneGa saying this after LG5 flops.
