People saying that the design are tragic already. The over reaction, the nostalgia too
This isn't about nostalgia. Gen 6 is still fairly new and it had some of the best designs of the franchise. Gen 3 and 4 also have some of the best designs in general. These new Pokemon are simply not impressive.
The new Pokemon look different from the older generations. Idk if I like or dislike the design. Charjabug is tragic, it looks like a bus Tapu Koko is unique and it fits perfectly to the tropical region.

I'm no stranger to it either as I hated Yveltal as now I really like it (but Xerneas still >). Y'all did it earlier this year too calling these the worst starters ever and then 2 days later y'all were all like "Oh, I like them now". Chill No one likes the unknown but you'll get used to it and then your opinions will change.
Serebii says all the names we've been discussing are the English names. But without an English trailer, how do we know this? Are the names unconfirmed? Interesting that Vikavolt's JP name is Kuwagannon. It reminded me of the Digimon Kabuteriermon which later evolves into Kuwagamon or something.

Because it was leaked by a russian person and they don't have their own localized names so they use english ones.
And well Kuwaga is part of the japanese word for Stagbeetle and "annon" comes just from cannon.

You seem like a delusional stan. Gen 6 was a slay right from the start, in terms of designs, and the Gen 7 starters were always cute. These seven are just bad

Togedemaru is Japanese, so no idea.
