It is generic AF and sure a lot of songs are better then it...but it's good for what's its made for..which is to work out/jog to (well at least in my case) lol

Perhaps. Didn't this happen with Roar? It didn't explode until late morning I think.

However, my only concern is Ariana is a front-loaded artist. Her fanbase usually buys it instantly and then it falls and has to stablize as the public learns of the song.

Yes, it took like 9 hours for Roar to top iTunes but sales were much heavier back then (Robin Thicke was still selling around 200-250k per week).

I haven't fully heard DW yet but it seems to be more polarizing than Focus was, so we shall see how it holds. She has SNL coming up right?
