No, she doesn't need anybody. What she needs is to start putting way more effort into her music by discovering fresh and young talent. Not just people she collabed with from the past. The last time she did that was with Bonnie, and look how that turned out. Out of all her current collaborators, Sarah Hudson should have the most input on her next album.

I agree! Too bad none of those "Best" songs have been released since August 2010.

Though Birthday is quite good, I'm still undecided if it deserves a Top 15 placing.

He's obviously her main producer and his songs are supposed to be singles that's why they need to stick to some rules if they want to get it on radio. When she's recording fillers in Sweden or with Wells she can do whatever she wants, that's how we get dull songs like This Moment

Probably need to work on your definition of filler a bit though, pretty sure you can't classify songs the artist clearly prefers and will switch to making exclusively in the future as filler.

Idk what you're saying but Katy MUST have these Dr.Luke/Max Martin bops in her next album...at least 4-5 songs tbh Then, she needs to look for 'fresh meat' as she said, new producers and new lyricists to work with.

Totally agreed, that's how Prism should have looked like and how I would love her next one to look like. 6 tracks from Gottwald/Martin/Kurstin and then second half full of interesting and experimental tracks with people she hasn't worked with before, not those top 40 producers who give her those boring midtempos. Second half of PRISM can make you fall asleep because of all those fillers. Definitely more uptempos, ballads are nice but 2 per pop album is more than enough.

I think Katy should just have a few songs with Cirkut and Max Martin and Benny Blanco on her next album, plus 4/5 songs she writes alone. Kinda like OOTB but more electrorock and no Dr Luke

I wish her all the best but Diplo is really a trouble. His second child isn't born yet and he's already left the mother to be with Katy. I'm not judging but I can't believe it's not alarming for her.

Yes to all that but the ballads. WAILF was too overproduced. I'd rather have more TOTGA acoustic and Not Like the Movies type ballads
