Madonna's league is above any of the popstars out today honestly, why? Because her legacy has exceeded that of the artist of today. So in reality you can be pit against someone out of your league but that doesn't mean there's a valid reason for doing so. And we're talking about the media, you're right they probably wont pit her against JT but a few times she has been pit against Justin Bieber during The Fame Monster, not to mention they both have huge fanbases. I really feel like you're putting ideas in to my words that are not really there, Justin is also releasing another album apparently which could coincide with ARTPOP. Adele will be releasing possibly in 2014, that's the only reason why I suggested the media might pit them against her. They're both huge artist making huge bucks, nothing else.
what? Where did I say that Adele and Justin Timberlake have a bigger legacy than Madonna. The question was asking who did we think the media would pin against Gaga this era, not who did we think had a bigger legacy than Madonna. Did you quote the right post? LOL
