I guess a July single would be good, and the wait between the single and the album isn't too long which should serve fans fairly quickly and allow the public to catch back on fairly quick. I just don't see it happening

She could release the single earlier you know like maybe the end of June which gives her 2 months to release the album + her releasing a single not on August is not impossible since she can wait til August to perform it.

True, but all sources have been giving us August. The end of June is too early for a "comeback" performance at the VMAs. When you comeback it's supposed to be huge, I'm sure there will still be hype but it doesn't give the same effect as when you come out around the same time as the performance (2-3 weeks at the max)

....is what I've been thinking for months now. She could also do late November for a Black Friday release, but then the VMAs and album release would be spread waaaaaay apart so I dunno.

I'm here for an end of August single, followed by an album early/mid October, so it'll get a boost from Black Friday + the holidays and then a second boost from a January single
