That Washpost poll is really good for Hillary, though it's a bit of an outlier from the last few. Trump never seems to really push past 43%, the 3rd parties take more from her, so overall I'd say it's going really well Dem wise.

Yep, that video is terrible. This has been an incredibly bad news cycle for Hillary. I'm glad she's okay, but that video "legitimizes" the insane health conspiracy theories that have been flying around, and I'm concerned about how it'll affect her perception to the public.

The only good thing from this week is the fact that Hillary is coming into the debates with a bad news cycle, so it'll make a redemption storyline possible.

I think this post is a bit of an overreaction. The news cycle has been fairly neutral since the CIC debacle, and even the "basket of deplorables" thing didn't make too much of a wave outside of right-wing twitter. That video is bad, but if the story picks up steam all Hillary has to do is release her medical records and call for Trump to do the same. I'm not sure why someone who is undecided would say "welp Hillary fainted, gotta vote Trump."

We're political nerds but the average American is getting home from church and prepping for NFL kickoff.

Yeah it's hard to remember sometimes that just because something is trending on Twitter doesn't mean it's an actual story. The Trumpkins on Twitter are analyzing that video like it's the Zapruder film. Some of them are even claiming that when she walked out of Chelsea's apartment it was actually a body double. It's annoying but not representative of the average voter.

I told myself I would take a break until the first debate but it's an addiction.

That video reminds me of what actually happened at the Hillary rally here. We're a desert community and waited in line for a while and this older woman faints from the heat and has to be helped by one person for each limb and moved inside. After that, they decided to let in the elderly even if Hillary wasn't here yet.
