Speak now has one the best productions on the whole record and tells a great story and I love the throwback feel to it

A rock album is a necessity. Not only would critics hail her as the Jesus of the genre, resurrecting something that was once a staple in society, but it would also allow her to continue writing about relationships without getting hounded for it bc she would be doing so with a mature sound. If she doesn't go rock or at least alt-kuntry with LP5, it'll most likely be her last.

Preach Now remains my fave bc that's album is 98% Her, She wasn't afraid to show Her ugly side for the very first time in that alberm. 
Still waiting for that Alt. Country album She promised though. Better be a mix of Whiskeytown & Uncle Tupelo sounds. I'd settle with a Bluegrass/Prog-grass album though.

Honestly, she can go whichever route she wants to and I would still support it, musically.
Pop is the most probable for her. She can go away with "rock" for an EP.
