The UK in general is tolerent of muslims and would call out bigotry. Unfortunately, there is a rising anti-islamic sentiment, of which is being encouraged by The Sun and other Right Wing media. However, I think much of The Sun's seeming antipathy towards him is largely down to their fetish in consistently casting Perrie (also something her management encouraged) in the victim role, with every move Zayn that makes interpreted as a method to further victimise her. This is illustrated in Dan Wootton's questioning 5H on the Zigi vogue shoot - this was designed to stimulate a particular answer (poor Perrie), and it did.
What I don't get is why Sarah et al are not booking radio interviews and introducing Zayn to the urban market and pop radios to reconcile Zayn and lost fans. Why isn't he ever pictured ith his young label mates? I only see him with GG, Ned (his A&R man
) and Greg (?)(his guitarist
) - they inexplicably appeared in his video...
If his team were smart, and since they love setting up stunt ops, they would organise a reunion with Liam (and maybe Louis).
