The Muslim comment isn't something I would imagine would give him votes. I mean, it's not that controversial of a comment and it doesn't really say anything. Trump gained so much traction on controversial statements about illegal immigrants because many felt like they couldn't hold a negative opinion of illegal immigration without being called a racist. Everyone says negative **** about Muslims. I haven't even seen any (adult) conservatives celebrate his comments like they did for Trump.
@Giselle: Agreed. The speculation is getting tiring, and it's having an effect on the accuracy of the polls. I personally never thought he would, and am still leaning towards no, but who knows.
