"Firework" does have chance at some recognition. I don't know about SOTY, but ROTY is possible. ****, if they nominated Teenage Dream in AOTY, SOTY may be possible.

Are Lady Antebellum's Own The Night, Blake Shelton's Red River Blue, The Band Perry's album and the Zac Brown Band's album eligible as well? I know Miranda released too late to be eligible this year...

Taylor is the obvious forerunner in terms of album sales and songwriting credits regardless of who she's up against...

Yup. But Lady Antebellum is a non factor this year. Their label TRIED IT with that lackluster release of an album. They were trying to build off of their newfound Grammy hype but it never panned out for them. Just A Kiss has a chance of getting nominated though based off their name and last era.

I think Taylor, Jason and Zac Brown Band are all guaranteed nominations... I think however the CMAs on November 9 could potentially foreshadow how the country Grammys will play out....

Zac Brown Band was nominated last year...Own The Night, Red River Blue, My Kinda Party..they are all medicore. Taylor or Brad should win. But last year, Need You Now was easily worst of nominees but won the award so

I thought ZBB was nominated last year... Own The Night, Red River Blue and My Kinda Party were all designed as singles albums; although I do love almost every song on Own The Night.
