So does Heidi Montag's music. It's just too generic for people over there to appreciate it from Madonna. It's almost insulting for America to get it over quality tracks, but I'm aware our tastes are a mess.
If the beat of Masterpiece had been a little faster (not dance-song fast, just a bit more spark) and some of the lyrics had been tweaked (like the opening line), it would have been a better song and could have been a nice solid hit. But best of all it would have shown she doesn't need to be generic for a hit.

yes it could be a chart smash if they would make it more stronger!
It's just too generic for people over there to appreciate it from Madonna. It's almost insulting for America to get it over quality tracks, but I'm aware our tastes are a mess.
