Well... what a conundrum. On one hand I was leading the witchhunt against her in 2013 and denouncing her a heathen. Now... I'm ok with it. I like it less than its' pre-evolutions but I don't hate it. It has it's ups and downs. The mega before the other two and Uber ability did it wonders in the tiers and terrors in the rates. Like Charizard, all its preferential treatment to the other two over the years was met with lashing out by the voters.
Ultimately, I don't care enough to be sad she's gone but I am laughing at you guys tripping over yourselves to sabotage her.

I'm JAVIng Fun "honestly likes him, but I think Sceptile and Swampert are better starters". As for the big red blob himself... he ok. Ground types slay water types, but I prefer Kyogre to him. I feel conflicted cus wow does he look cool in that art... but he rarely looks as good as he does there so... He was always a scrappy next to king of ubers Kyogre, but his primal version did kind of end the beluga so he has that, just not this rate. Team Magma stays iconic tho, that time they wanted to erupt a volcano in the middle of the region to expand the land... yeah.
Also people stan for the Drought theme in RSE but that **** is just noise, Heavy Rainfall >>

Blaze Kick and Sky Uppercut alone had me SWEEPING back on Ruby when I was in the 7th grade (I chose Mudkip as my starter on Sapphire). Those Swellows THOUGHT they had me, only to be punched out of the sky.

She aight. I like the design, mixing ninja and cicada in a cute way and her speed makes me gag, she better run to baton pass those hetero heels. I'm surprised Amit hates ha, I thought he loved speedy pokémon. Shame about the typing... idk what else she could be tho? Bug/Dark? Her alternate form did it better tbh, that's how you really slay a cicada concept bitch.
A Bomb calls it "useless generic bug evo #3" Which was #2? Phresh laments the waste, "good design, terrible stats, generic typing, great ability." I mean, I thought you'd appreciate pokemon that are all speed and nothing else? jpow summons the undead soul of Electrode, "speed DEMON love ha on Showdown." Ofc you'd use her on showdown, no wonder you never win anything there. |
