But that promo is absolute trash. She has her pick of every single TV show, radio station, and news network in the world for promo this time around, all of the best ones included. She should shoot for the stars here, not try to revive a dying talent show while simultaneously debuting the most highly anticipated single of her career.

Let's also not forget that the XFactor is way more relevant in Europe (UK particularly) than in the US.It's not "cheap" promo.
I would be completely fine with her performing there,but I agree with Ichi...The first performance has to be in a posh venue.

I'm pretty sure I didn't said that your thoughts are irrelevant, but whatever. Frankly, I find it quite unbelievable (once again, not necessarily in a bad way) that you guys, after 3 YEARS of basically nothing but desperation, would still go and turn down an opportunity of a performance. I mean, she can just as well say **** it to everything and we might not get any performances, at all. Also, what Edward said is true. X Factor is actually one of the better opportunities for promotion in Europe.

For the record, I never said a performance wasn't a good idea. A performance, esp of a second or third single after the initial welcome back has worn off, if XFactor is a bigger deal in Europe, makes more sense to me than a week of her criticizing covers that we usually don't like... How awkward would it be for her to critique people singing her songs that she hasn't performed in two years or more as the first thing "back" that she does.
