I brought up Beyonce in my English class today and got the teacher to ask me what word Beyonce has put in the dictionary. I had the whole class listening too and I told her about how "Bootylicious" came to be and she was like "Wow, awesome. Yea, I've actually heard Johnny Depp use that word in one of his interviews." And she's like 60. King B finally getting the recognition she deserves for contributing to the English language.

Today, I've been feeling sad as usual, but I also felt the magic today. The feeling you get when there's a new single out and a new album due. The way you feel when you listen to an album for the first time. I've been staring at pictures from the photo shoot in Paris (where she shot her album covers). I just really feel more hopeful now. This era's gonna be alright.
