It doesn't help that Katy has spoiled her fan base so much with the TD slayage, so anything that isn't top ten immediately, people will start to get nervous.
Wide Awake was barely top twenty after two weeks of radio exposure and a performance at the BBMAs. Unconditionally has only been on the radio for a week and is only accompanied by a lyric video. Now that Roar has enjoyed the benefit of album release week, it seems that it will finally start to cool down.
