ok there's this new thing on tumblr about fighting for autistic people to be more respected and that's something i can get behind except people are saying things like "there's no such thing as the autistic spectrum, all autism is the same!!!" and "parents that wish their children weren't autistic are scum!!!!" like do they realize being autistic isn't always just being socially impaired, it can be bad enough to get you institutionalized??? and that autism is actually a disability and can make people (and the people that care about them)'s lives much harder??? omg tumblr ruins everything *bursts into flames*
