yehh i get what you mean.
i think it is easier to get a hit in the UK because here the single isnt released straight away, its normally weeks after the premiere/promo/vid ect.
But 'OMG' by usher was released on monday, which will mean it will obv. flop cos you need promo and airplay for a while first, and i only heard it on thursday on the way home from coll. on the radio - its only just started playing. its a shame cos its a good song.
In the US songs are released pretty much straight away, but lately i know what you mean, they have lower peaks but there in the chart for a while.
She's very good at her Britney impression! 
As a consolation for the devastated fans like me, Guetta was quoted in the same article saying "but we don’t have the song yet so it’s only a rumour.”
