These monsters need to be stopped. It went over the top as soon as it first started. ISIS has caused pain and suffering to too many people.

These brave souls are so admirable for this. Their efforts are valiant and make me hope that nothing else happens further.

2. STOP giving out any benefits to those who come. If they want to stay, then get a job like you should.
3. STOP confusing the public by hiding facts about the crimes committed by migrants from Western Asia in the name of propagating multiculturalism. They are Muslims and they do it in the name of jihad or in other cases do it because it's okay in their culture (but unacceptable in Europe). It is a serious problem that people of one faith do such things and this fact should be a matter of public discourse.
4. Implement a no tolerance policy for those who are already in. If they want to live in Europe, that's totally fine but they must work, pay taxes and obide by the law. Otherwise, they should be deported.
5. Do everything to eliminate the Islamic State, also by supporting Assad. It's quite ironic that Putin is dealing much better with this than Obama.
|
This is really a bad idea. First of all, Assad's priority is to eliminate the Sunni including innocent childs and women. He's not targetting the ISIS

Tragedies like this happen almost every day in lots of places around the world, the media is acting like this is the end of the world just cause it happened in a first world country and one of the most important cities in the world...
The media should put the spotlight like they're doing right now in other places too, human lifes are worth the same no matter where they are ![coffee2](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/b80efe23.gif)

Shut up ![Bibliotheque](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/atrlers/biblio_zps23dff242.gif) When this sort of thing happens, the fact that it occurs in a developed country IS significant. It represents an attack from a foreign entity, one that is directly in conflict with the Western world, in a place where such violence would not otherwise happen. Like it or not, that matters a hell of a lot more in our cultural sphere than some attack in a war torn country that we have nothing to do with.
edit: to clarify, I'm talking about coverage in the Western media here, not about the importance of human life.

The Met's Assistant Commissioner, Mark Rowley said the extent of the threat facing the UK was "significant" and Londoners would find the daily intelligence he views to be "concerning".
But he insisted the authorities had the resources and skills to combat the threats.
"I think anyone seeing the intelligence we're seeing on a daily basis would be concerned," he said.
"I think if you look at it alongside the capabilities we've got today there's no cause to be frightened, but people would be concerned.
"The number of arrests we've been making has escalated quite dramatically - an arrest [for suspected terrorism offences] one-a-day pretty much, which is much higher than ever before."

Wow. Even though I don't agree with reducing importance from this, I cannot believe you just said violent attacks matter more in developed countries just because it happens less often. I'm from Mexico and thousands of innocent people have been murdered or have disappeared leaving behind hopeless families who are desperate seeking justice our government is unable to provide. Disgusting that you imply my life or my family's lives are worth less because you are from Australia.

The ATRL political scientists need to shut the f*ck up and stop acting like they know how to prevent crises like this. So disrespectful.
RIP to everyone murdered in this tragedy.

Paris authorities say 120 people died in the terrorist attacks last night - all 8 attackers have been 'neutralised'.

Honestly I agree with you here. Lebanon had bombs going off just the other day but where was #PrayforLebanon and their flag lighting in other countries??

You've misinterpreted me - I'm talking about the media reporting, not about whether or not their lives matter more. To say that some lives matter more than others would be in direct conflict with my humanist beliefs.

I mean, it's possible it's nothing, but these terrorism threats are usually taken seriously just on the off chance they're... you know, not nothing
I kinda put more blame on the site. Aren't they usually supposed to report stuff like this, even if it seems like a hoax?

I just read their other thread about the prediction and it looks like they get those kinds of "prediction" threads normally. A sort of a trolling given the recent terrorist occurrences. So at the time, it was just another drop in the pool.

Okay, let's talk about how you think the media is giving this event a lot more deserved coverage than your typical event on other undeveloped country because it happen in Paris, France.

I agree with you, but we'd be praying every other day if we were all to commemorate each and every tragedy in the world.
As respectful as it would be, I wouldn't want to live in a world like that. I'd be so depressing and somber.
We come together in a moment of need, as day proves. It's unfortunately unbalanced, but that's the way we live.

Why November 13th though? Isn't that strange as hell?
Never mind that first quote talked about it actually happening.
