Once again caught up in the destiny of the Bennett witches, Bonnie and Abby (guest star Persia White) find themselves playing a part in a ritual to appease the spirits of nature. New images from tonight's episode, "All My Children "
The CW’s hit series, Vampire Diaries is new again tonight, and the network has just released 6 more images from the episode, featuring Matt Davis, Torrey Devitto, Joseph Morgan, Nathaniel Buzolic, and more.
Smallville stunner Cassidy Freeman will soon make her Vampire Diaries debut, but very little is known about Mystic Falls’ latest import… until now.
Executive producer Julie Plec recently revealed some key details about Freeman’s mysterious vamp Sage, whom she describes as “ballsy, and sexy, and dynamic and fun.”
“Cassidy’s character is a vampire we’ll meet in our 16th episode, titled ’1912′,” Plec teases. “It’s timed about 100 years ago, when Damon was still… the Damon that walked out the door in a huff of disappointment and piousness when his brother [Stefan] was out of control in 1864.”
Adds the EP, “Somewhere between 1864 and [The Vampire Diaries] pilot, Damon became the Damon that we know and love, and this episode gives us a little glimpse into that — and what Cassidy’s Sage had to do with it.”
And not unlike those beloved Originals, Sage will be featured in both present day and flashback scenes.
Here are three more scooplets from the remainder of Season 3:
• Plec says that unlike most Vampire guest stars (who have an end date from the get-go), Torrey DeVitto’s Meredith is sticking around for the foreseeable future.
With Meredith, [the story] has been ever-evolving,” she muses. “It’s possible [the character could become a permanent fixture] — or she could die a horrific, violent and tragic death.”
• Alaric’s life-saving “eternity ring can’t be relied upon much longer,” Plec shares. “There’s definitely a sense of the clock ticking on the effectiveness of the ring, and that’s going to be a big concern for [Elena] who really only has two very important people left in her life: Alaric and Jeremy.”
• How long until the identity of the at-large Mystic Falls Murderer is unveiled — that is if it’s not Meredith, as the end of tonight’s episode seemed to imply? “The next wave of story we have to get through is seeing the outcome of the Original mother’s plan to kill her babies,” Plec offers, “but as we move forward into that we are also going to dovetail very nicely about who is behind [the murders].”
Elena is smarter than I've been giving her credit for. It's about time she showed some of those smarts I know she has She picked the perfect place to run to. Though, I guess this is counter-productive since it was her apparent lack of brains that got her into that trouble in the first place. Crossing Elijah? Doesn't she know better? Did she already forget their first meeting? Good thing he reminded her.
As menacing as Elijah is I really don't think he'd actually hurt Elena anymore. He definitely has affection for her even if he knew all along she was lying to him.
So basically, this episode was trying to correct something Elena did thinking it was right. Not that it wasn't but it sure got a lot of people near dead.
Vampire Diaries Spoilers: When Will We Find out Who the Serial Killer Is?
Quote:
Sinking your fangs into a human and draining them of blood is one thing, but now The Vampire Diaries has introduced a mass murderer who’s been going around staking innocent humans — including Caroline’s (Candice Accola) father and our beloved Alaric (Matt Davis). The fact that both of these dudes came back from the dead and couldn’t identify their attacker — and one is skilled in hypnotic suggestion and the other’s a trained vampire slayer — makes us think an invisible ninja is on the loose.
According to what executive producer Julie Plec recently told Clique Claque, this is one mystery that isn’t going to be solved CSI style — it’s going to span several episodes to the end of Season 3. “The episode where we come back after the next little mini-hiatus really dives right into that mystery and tells us, starts to give us a sense of what’s actually going on and who’s behind this strange trail of bodies that have been stacking up. That villain and that mystery will be driving us towards the end of the season very hard,” says Plec. As if this town wasn’t dangerous enough. The question is, is this killer human, vampire, hybrid, ghost… or some monster we haven’t seen yet?
The CW has released the official synopsis for The Vampire Diaries: 1912 (EP316), set to air when the show returns from hiatus on Thursday, March 15th.

THE MURDER MYSTERY DEEPENS — The present-day murders in Mystic Falls remind Damon (Ian Somerhalder) of a similar crime spree a century earlier. In flashbacks to 1912, Damon recalls a beautiful vampire, Sage (guest star Cassidy Freeman), who showed him a whole new way to exist. Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) warns Damon not to get involved in her investigation, but Damon is convinced she’s going after the wrong suspect. Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Matt (Zach Roerig) resort to breaking and entering in their search for evidence to prove Dr. Fell (guest star Torrey Devitto) is a murderer. For reasons known only to her, Rebekah (guest star Claire Holt), becomes interested in locating one of the town’s oldest landmarks. Finally, Elena comes to a new understanding of the path her life has taken, and Damon makes an emotional confession to Stefan (Paul Wesley).
Official Stills from 1912 (EP316)
We may not be getting a new episode tonight, but here’s a little treat from the CW to help make up for it: stills from the next episode, 1912 (EP316), which will air on March 15!
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm sick and tired of these excessive amount of hiatuses.

Q :The writers for TVD are so cruel! I’m beginning to feel that the whole Elena and Damon kiss was the start and end of their relationship. Any scoop on most people’s favorite couple?
Fear not, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) fans! Though Damon and Elena may seem further apart than ever, sources tell us their estrangement is not permanent and that their complicated dynamic “will be heating up again” this season. We’ll pause while you “Delena” fans rejoice and “Stelena” (Stefan and Elena) fans go through the five stages. It gets better, guys.
