Emma hasn't won anything on the award circuit, and now she's apparently missing nominations. What makes her frontrunner, the fact that she stars in the Best Picture frontrunner?



Amy winning would be an interesting propsect. Has anyone ever won an acting Oscar for a sci-fi film?

I don't think Amy has a chance to win though she is campaigning pretty hard. I think she's just focused on building her case of being long overdue for some future project.

The only two upcoming projects on her imdb page are Justice League and the Enchanted sequel, so I guess she's working long term with that overdue narrative.
