I like Rock, especially Active Rock and Country, so I am happy when songs from those formats do well. Centuries is more Rock than TMTC, and certainly more than Royals (which to me was Urban/Hip Hop, and showed that by reaching the Top Two on the Urban Radio Chart after topping Alternative). Centuries is as Rock as Radioactive, if not a little more, and Radioactive got to #3 and became the all-time longevity king.

I used to be more fan to Alternative Rock/Rock/Metal/Punk music but I have lost interest these last 3 years I think. I feel the quallity is down and Rock music has some tendence for Electronic/Folk, so it's not the same heavy sound that it was so popular in the first half of the past decade.
Radioactive is just incredible, what a wonderful anthem, I loved every time I listened to it on Pop radio because it was so different
