Unfortunately for Madonna, we recently listed the top five songs of 2012, where Lady Gaga came in at number one. Madonna didn't make that list. Instead, she sits at both the number one and number two positions of the worst songs of 2012. Poor Madonna -- she tried everything she could do to be relevant in 2012, but failed. Perhaps if she acted her age, people would give her more respect.

The most overlooked single of 2012 was Lady Gaga's "Marry the Night." It didn't help that it came from the 2011 album Born This Way, which wasn't really well received. Had "Marry The Night" been the first single, things probably would have gone better for Lady Gaga during her most recent era.
