It's despicable sometimes that they're perched for views. They want a horse race so badly.

The worst is that they keep inviting authentic supremacists (as in self-described ones) once in a while to let them spew their hate and make an argument based on it because they treat them like normal fans of a candidate. I'm glad one anchor called them out on it.

The sad thing is that a lot of Americans won't see what the outrage is because they don't know (or care) what Aleppo is either

So let's take inventory of the American presidential candidates for a second:

We have two of the most unpopular candidates of all time leading both of the main parties - with one of them being a racist, sexist, narcissistic bigot who has a trail of dodgy deals and lies.

The other did some dodgy email stuff which made her public enemy #1 despite being cleared of wrongdoing. This leaves her in the awkward position of being one of the least trusted presidential candidates of all time.

Then in the third-party candidates we have a physician who after an eternity of medical training still has the audacity to challenge vaccinations, wifi and technology in schools. To top it all off there's now a warrant out for her arrest (even if the crime was, arguably, for a pretty noble cause in my book - you're still running for president you shouldn't be doing stuff quite that messy and illegal).

Finally today we can all say rest in peace to Gary Johnson's campaign for committing self-suicide on live TV by failing to know the most important city in Syria right now and the symbol of the Syrian struggle that has only been on TV for the last couple of years at least once a week.

Such a mess could truly only happen in the land of the free

In 2012 we had millionaire Kim Dotcom, founder of illegal filesharing websites megaupload and megashare (and who literally looks like a villain out of a James Bond film) literally try to buy his way into parliament through a radical fringe party called the "Internet Party" (which had some of the craziest representatives in New Zealand political history as well) all in an attempt to stall his extradition case to the United States on counts of illegal filesharing and hence robbing the American movie industry of millions if not billions of dollars etc.

His whole plan was to destroy the government so he also held this massive Exposé the NIGHT BEFORE the election that was hyped up to be the "moment of truth" and he had Edward Snowden and Julian Assange on Skype and everything to try and spill some tea to sink the government but it backfired so bad and he totally failed and the government won the election pretty comfortably and his party didn't even manage to get in to parliament as the member who had to win his electorate to ensure them entry didn't win.

It was truly iconic though.. this man almost descending our political scene into total chaos
