I thought the Sweden sessions were gonna be the last songs she records for this album, but it looks like she's starting all over again. Is this album #4 now? since 2012? i'm excited nonetheless.
With the snippet and now her working with Matthew Koma, it seems she is going in an electronic or EDM direction for sure. She will probably redo the album photo shoot too because the aesthetic of her promo images doesn't match dance music.
^I agree she should change her image to something more pop/sexy for the new music.
And yes, she definitely changed the direction of the album to something more Dance/EDM
Matthew Koma did an amazing job on Kiss (underrated album) for Carly
So I guess all of the songs we wrote off from the first EDM sessions are game again. How many songs do you guys think she has so far for the new direction? Also, Kiss was an excellent album.
I really did not like Kiss, but I think it was mostly because of Carly Rae's voice.
As far as brand new songs recorded, I'm gonna guess she has six or seven songs. RCA probably would not allow any less than five from her six-day Sweden trip.
If you combine what she worked on a year ago, then I'm guessing closer to 15 tracks.
