I don't think the US cares about the X Factor. I mean, even with Britney, the ratings have been underwhelming, and even with Bieber, the world's biggest popstar.

I was reading this article the other day that explained how actually hiring Britney hurt the X Factor. It had a point. Many people were claiming that she couldn't judge a singing competition (we all know that's not true). But the public maybe feels that way, Add The Voice, and how many people wont get involved on two shows of the same kind at the same time.
