Neither does most pop girls, but they still do it cause it gives them maximum exposure. I feel like the lack of commercials stops her from reaching a broader audience. It's like Rocnation tries to only confine her to social medial, while other artists can dominate social media and tv, just look at Beyonce.
It's sad buy many old people in my family have no clue who Rihanna is, unlike Britney, Taylor and Beyonce because their teams gives them maximum exposure.
Not saying that their plans havent been working so far, but it would be nice to try something new in the future

Well your first mistake is thinking Rihanna is like them.

Girls like Taylor, Bey, and Katy truly are Americas Sweetheart and they have been that for years. American brands are more likely to pick them up because they're safer; more marketable, thus they get commercials, ads, and stuff.
& like Mikey said marketing schemes has nothing to do with Rihanna team but more so the brand itself. Covergirl & L' oreal does commercials but MAC doesn't. H&M does commercials but Forever21 doesn't. Rihanna typically teams with brands overseas she hasn't had the opportunity to be on tv since her Nivea or Covergirl days.
Rihanna perfumes get a lot of promo, so her team doesn't always suck.
